MFM was a non-profit organization run by a global collective of passionate and dedicated professionals working collaboratively providing a replicable model of authentic midwifery care. “Authentic Midwifery” provides care that uses evidence based, best practices, heart and soul art and science. They provide women’s health care, train others, research and share our outcomes.

Our Purpose
The purpose of Midwives for Midwives was to empower and support midwives in their mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care. They aim to strengthen the midwifery community, advocate for maternal health equity, and celebrate the essential role midwives play in transforming lives and building healthier communities.
- CULTIVATE a self sustaining global collective of professional midwives demonstrating the heart and soul, art and science of authentic midwifery.
- WEAVE together professional midwifery and indigenous knowledge and enable an environment of cross-cultural exchange and learning.
- SHARE our results and publish these results to demonstrate the effectiveness of the midwifery model of care.
- PROVIDE open doors 24/7 women’s health, birth, postpartum and newborn care, training and support to local midwifery community and international midwifery students.
